Cargill Food Security Quiz
About: Cargill, the largest privately held company in the United States, needed help converting an employee quiz design to a functioning quiz hosted on the company's intranet. The quiz, designed to increase world food security knowledge, tracked each individual's answers, and, at the end of the quiz, allowed each person to vote for a cause (clean water, farmer training, etc.). This final vote determined how $100,000 would be donated.
This quiz was presented to employees around the world in many different languages, including French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Thai, and Bahasa. Multiple JSON files holding the language translations populated a single set of quiz pages.
Role: . Brian Kruse, a developer (and friend), authored the bulk of the JavaScript included in this project.. Besides the HTML, CSS, images generation, I instructed the Cargill IT team how to implement the quiz.
